GHISLAINE Maxwell has described life inside her new prison as like stepping through Alice in Wonderland's looking glass.

The disgraced British socialite, who introduced Britain's former prince Andrew to his paedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein, was moved to a minimumsecurity jail for nonviolent offenders, sparking outrage over her treatment.

Maxwell, 63, is serving 20 years for aiding late US sex offender Epstein in the abuse and trafficking of minors.

It is now claimed she is seeking a commutation of her sentence from US President Donald Trump.

Her move from the low-security Tallahassee to Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Texas in July came days after she met Todd Blanche, the deputy US attorney-general and former defence attorney to Trump.

The meeting took place as the administration faced criticism over unreleased Epstein documents and renewed scrutiny of Trump's relationship with him.

Maxwell told Blanche she had never seen Trump, who was close friends with the disgraced financier, behave inappropriately, according to a transcript.
