Jim says motivation no problem for Under-2ls in England

JIM CRAWFORD doesn't need to do anything different to motivate his Ireland Under-21 side for tonight's European qualifier against England at St Andrew's.

The back-to-back European champions are managed by Crawford’s former Under-21 teammate Lee Carsley.

While suggesting England don't feel the same level of rivalry, Boys in Green boss Crawford believes it’s ingrained in his players.

“Although they're camouflaging it quite well, somewhere deep down in a lot of these players that rivalry still exists in their blood,” he said.

“That's something that youd expect with the group of players that we have selected here.
