TRIBUTES have been paid to a well-known soccer official who lost his life in a workplace accident on Wednesday.

TRIBUTES POUR IN FOR POPULAR SOCCER OFFICIAL

He has been named locally as Jack Mcllroy, 25, from Nobber, Co Meath.

Mr Mcllroy died in the accident at Paramount Doors Ireland in Kingscourt, Co Cavan.

He was well known in Leinster league soccer and was the secretary of the Electro Celtic soccer club.
