AN UNSUNG hero of young Josh Bradley's leukaemia battle has been singled out for praise by Shamrock Rovers manager Stephen Bradley.

He recalled how the first night of Josh's treatment, over three years ago, was filled with anxiety and dread, but that a cleaner named Chrissie helped comfort him.

Her presence was a constant throughout the ordeal, right up to this week when she was present as Josh rang the bell, signalling the end of his long fight.
