...but it was business as usual on Tuesday says Liverpool boss Slot after title party

- BY CHRIS MCKENNA

ELATED Arne Slot toasted Liverpool's title success at Anfield on Sunday and celebrated his wife's birthday on Monday - but by Tuesday it was business as usual.

The Reds head coach allowed himself a couple of days to soak in the remarkable success of leading the club to the Premier League in his first season at the club. “Monday was my wife's birthday. She was here together with the children and some friends so we had lunch together,” Slot said. “Tuesday they left, so Tuesday was, I would say, going back to normal.

“Oh, yeah, I picked up my car, I left my car at Anfield. And Wednesday we trained.

“So it’s not like the whole world has changed by winning this league title.
