Monster takes up music lessons in jail, Tributes to victim on 4th anniversary

PUSKA HITS VILE NOTES

THE monster who murdered Ashling Murphy has started attending music classes behind bars - in yet another insult to the young teacher's memory.

This paper has learned Jozef Puska has signed up for lessons where he can get guitar and keyboard tuition several times week in Midlands Prison.

The revelation comes as family and friends of teacher Ashling, who was also an accomplished violinist, remembered her on Sunday in an emotional walk along the Grand Canal Way in Cappincur, near Tullamore, Co Offaly, where she was killed four years ago.

Her parents, and partner Ryan Casey, marked her memory in emotional services on Sunday and yesterday as they marked four years since Puska randomly targeted her while she was out for a run along the canal on January 12, 2022.

We previously revealed how Puska, who is serving a life sentence for murder, was enjoying a cushy existence behind bars, where he was learning English, much to the anger of Ashling's loved ones.

Now it has emerged the Slovakian has taken up music and art classes as he tries to occupy himself on the E wing of the Midlands Prison.

The wing is known to house mostly sex offenders - and Puska, who is one of the most notorious prisoners, was kept there for his own safety.

Ashling was not only a talented fiddle player but also taught many others how to play.
