Public cash down drain once again

WITH the budget less than a week away now, Government ministers haven't been slow in lecturing us on how they're going to cut back on spending.

That's an ominous warning to hard-pressed households to not expect much, or anything at all, when it is announced next Tuesday.

However, the Government would not need to cut back so much if it didn’t waste so much in the first place.
