Pressure's building on skort rule

THE Camogie Association is set to come under pressure from a united group of counties on the skort rule.

No vote on relaxing the rule can be made until 2027 but pressure is mounting after Dublin and Kilkenny made an attempt last weekend to play their Leinster semi-final in shorts.

Camogie rules state it is compulsory to wear skorts but 83 per cent of players told the GPA in a survey they wanted the option to wear shorts.
