Mitchell (inset) has unfinished business with global tournaments having been an assistant to Eddie Jones in 2019 when England's men blew their big chance in Japan.

Jones’ side had produced a performance for the ages to beat New Zealand 19-7 in the semifinal, but lost 32-12 to South Africa in the big one.
