NEIGHBOURS' final episode hits TV screens today after being cancelled for the second time - this time by Amazon.

The Aussie soap became a global sensation after making its debut on the BBC in March 1985 and made huge names of the likes of Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan.

But its popularity waned and it was snapped up by Channel 5 in 2008. In 2022, the station pulled its funding and screened a star-studded finale which included Kylie and Jason as special guests.
