Vultures circle Leeds boss as Rogers' brace condemns United to third defeat on bounce

- BY ISAAC JOHNSON

DANIEL FARKE is facing questions over his future after Morgan Rogers condemned Leeds to a third loss in a row.

With a torrid run of Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool up next, there is a real risk United could go six games without a single point.

Already in the bottom three, fans are not sure Farke has the capability to keep their team in the Premier League.

The hosts took the lead in industrial fashion inside eight minutes when Lukas Nmecha bundled home the ball legally, according to VAR.

Villa undid all of the Whites' hard work in the first half when Rogers (left) flicked home a clever finish from a tight angle three minutes after the break.

He then fired home the winner with a terrific knuckle-ball free-kick to cap a performance that will have caught the eye of England manager Thomas Tuchel, as he pushes for a place in next summer's World Cup squad.

Leeds hit the front for a second game running in unorthodox circumstances. A dangerous ball whipped in by Sean Longstaff saw Gabriel Gudmundsson keep it in on the stretch.
