LOSSIEMOUTH LOOKS GR-EIGHT

LOSSIEMOUTH should bag an eighth Grade 1 prize when she makes her seasonal return in the Unibet Morgiana Hurdle in Punchestown.

Willie Mullins has won the Morgiana 13 times and has been responsible for 12 of the last 14 winners of the Punchestown showpiece,a sequence interrupted by Gordon Elliott, who scored with Abracadabras (2020) and when Brighterdaysahead turned over State Man 12 months ago.

Anzadam had been considered Closutton’s standard-bearer before a change of plans which sees star mare Lossiemouth joined by stable-companion Irancy in a field of only four.
