Brother says finding body is all that matters now, 'Answer lies in village where she vanished... 100%

- NICOLA DONNELLY

THE family of a missing woman marked the 25th anniversary of her disappearance by saying they no longer seek justice but only want to bring her home.

Sandra Collins' family "100% believes" all the answers lie in her home village of Killala, Co Mayo, where the 28-year-old was last seen on December 4, 2000.

She lived in the village with her aunt Ann O'Grady whom she looked after.

At around 7.45pm she went to a shop where she bought groceries for her aunt and neighbour. She returned with the groceries to her neighbour but went back out again and was last seen at the a takeaway at around 11.15pm.

Four days later, her fleece was found on the pier in Killala. Sausages Sandra bought for her aunt were still in the pocket of the fleece.

MURDERED

It is believed she was abducted, murdered and secretly buried.

Speaking to this paper, her brother Patrick, who was only 13 years old when his older sister disappeared, said the family’s suffering has never eased.

He added: "Imagine how you'd feel if it was your sister, your aunt, your niece.

"I would ask them to look in the mirror and ask how they can sleep at night. Whatever went on, an innocent family is suffering.
