The seizure of the Marinera comes hot on the heels of American special forces storming Caracas, seizing Venezuela's ex-president Nicolas Maduro and putting him on trial on drugs and weapons charges in New York.

And there were even more threats coming from Trump that the US must take Greenland for reasons of national security.
