Bus attacker Palestinians are shot dead

SIX people were killed and 12 wounded when two Palestinians opened fire at a bus stop in Jerusalem during rush hour.

The attackers began shooting people in the street then entered the bus and fired on passengers.

The windscreen was riddled with bullets and dozens of people fled the mayhem. The gunmen, said to be 20 and 21 and from the West Bank, were shot dead at the scene by an Israeli soldier and civilians.

One of the attackers was dressed as a bus ticket official, witnesses reported. A third suspect linked to the incident was arrested.
