Additional Collector (Local Bodies) Ashwini Tanaji Wakade on Wednesday directed officials to respond promptly to complaints lodged by women and ensure that appropriate action is taken without delay.
Addressing an awareness programme on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 at the Collectorate conference hall in Karimnagar, she emphasised the need for strict implementation of the Act to safeguard the dignity and safety of women at work places.
