HULL KR are “on their way” to claiming a first-ever League Leaders’ Shield, according to leading Sky Sports pundit Jon Wilkin.

The Robins sit four points clear at the top of the Super League table after 19 rounds, having ended their Perpignan hoodoo with a dominant 34-6 win over Catalans Dragons. Their cause was indirectly helped by city rivals Hull FC just hours prior to their kickoff, with the Black and Whites handing reigning champions Wigan their fifth defeat of the campaign.
