Hull City continue to be a side that creates no shortage of drama in their games so far this season, and that was the case again on Tuesday night.

Two-nil down inside 10 minutes after gifting Preston North End a couple of cheap goals, City produced a hopeless performance in the opening period, but it was all change in a terrific second in the proverbial game of two halves just as it was at Watford on Saturday.

Oli McBurnie's first goal came inside a couple of minutes at the start of the second half before he powered in the equaliser 74 minutes in to earn City a 2-2 draw and a share of the spoils.

Make no mistake about it, that first half display was as bad as anything City have offered up in the last few seasons since they returned to the Championship, and there's been no shortage of competition.

The biggest surprise of the opening 46 minutes was that Preston were only 2-0 up and the boos were not even louder than they were, but credit the boss, his staff and the players for turning it around, and acknowledging that he got his setup wrong.
