SUPER League's expansion plan has indeed split opinion, but one element has captured the imagination more than any.

The IMG grading system will determine the first 12 clubs, but clubs 13 and 14 will be decided by a selection process that determines the most suitable clubs based on a specific set of criteria.
As it stands, that criterion has not been made public.
However, All Out Rugby League has been told that Monday's meeting at Headingley explained that the selection process will be similar to the one that took place around five years ago, when Super League needed an additional club.
