JAKIROVIC SAYS CITY WILL TRY TO CREATE GOOD ATMOSPHERE

HULL City head coach Sergej Jakirovic says it's important his players relish the extra expectation that's now on his side after a fine start to the season.

Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Derby County ended the Tigers' impressive six-game unbeaten run which had seen them claim four wins and two draws, and now, they'll look to bounce back this weekend.

City host struggling Portsmouth at the MKM Stadium, knowing victory could send them into the top six for the final international break, and they'll tackle the South Coast side in front of their biggest home crowd of the season so far.

Jakirovic's men have won four at home already this term, and victory today would see them match last season's total, but with an improvement in fortunes comes a growing expectation.
