Future head coach Haggerty quits the Red Devils

KURT Haggerty has left Salford Red Devils, months before he was due to become the club's new head coach.

Haggerty, who has been assistant coach to Paul Rowley since 2022, has played a key role during the club’s recent period, which has seen them reach the playoffs on two different occasions.
At the end of the season, Haggerty was set to be promoted, with Rowley set to become the club's new head of rugby.
However, Haggerty has now resigned amid the club's ongoing financial issues.
