Clinical Warriors are too good for Hull's battlers
Hull Daily Mail

Hull FC's wait for a home victory this season continues, with Wigan Warriors running out 36-12 winners at the MKM Stadium.
The Super League champions were the better side in another two hour game. But while stoppages and lengthy video referee decisions were hardly ideal, the greatest frustration was Hull themselves, who were at times erratic and sloppy in a match that was full of errors.
At times, they looked the part and were well in the contest, with some slick shape from John Asiata and Aidan Sezer in particular posing a threat. But their undoing was their inability to take their chances.
They had plenty of them, but despite tries from Will Pryce and Harvey Barron, they couldn't strike enough when it mattered to take advanatage.
In contrast, Wigan did, and at the most crucial times. And when they got their strangehold, they maintained their authority at the other end, frustrating Hull further, who have failed to win any of their opening six home games this year in league and cup - the only avoidance of defeat a draw against Leigh Leopards.
Making two changes to his side, John Cartwright welcomed back Barron after six games out with a hamstring injury, while Matty Laidlaw came in for this first appearance of the season.
