Cartwright's tribute to departing FC star Lane

JOHN Cartwright has paid a classy tribute to Jordan Lane after the back rower played his 163rd and final Hull FC game against Catalans Dragons on Thursday night.

Lane was understandably emotional after full-time, with the curtain coming down on his Black and Whites career.

The Hull-born back rower has been at the club for over a decade, rising through the youth system and debuting in the first team in 2018.

The 27-year-old has been a mainstay since then but will move on to a new challenge in 2026, signing for Castleford Tigers on a big four-year deal, with Cartwright wishing him the best for his future.
