Brits face difficult Wimbledon draws

The 23-year-old enters the tournament as a serious title contender for the first time, having risen to fourth in the world rankings. He will face Argentinian Sebastian Baez in the opening round.

However, the competition is set to intensify from there, with former finalist Marin Cilic likely to be his second-round opponent and Alexander Bublik, who defeated him in the fourth round of the French Open and won the major grass-court warm-up event in Halle last weekend, expected to be his first seeded rival in the third round.

Eight-time champion Novak Djokovic, who has reached the final in every edition since 2017, could potentially be waiting in the quarter-finals, while world number one Jannik Sinner might be his semi-final opponent.
