Bridlington RNLI issues safety advice as temperatures rise

THE Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) has issued safety advice as the weather continues to get warmer.

While temperatures are expected to cool somewhat as we approach the Early May Bank Holiday, there's no denying that spring has arrived, bringing with it some glorious sunshine and warm temperatures. As a result, the lifesaving charity is expecting to see an increase in visitors at the coast.

The charity is urging people who find themselves in trouble in the water to use the 'Float to Live' technique. People are also reminded to call 999 in an emergency and ask for the Coastguard.
