Akintola close to City deal

HULL City are close to agreeing a deal for winger David Akintola after the Nigerian opted to turn down a move to Turkish club Genclerbirligi.
City have been keen to bolster their wide options this summer with first-choice duo Liam Millar and Mohamed Belloumi not yet fit to return to first team action following their ACL injuries.
The 29-year-old left Rizespor at the end of the season and has been without a club since. The Tigers have moved to snap up the experienced campaigner on a free transfer to bolster Sergej Jakirovic's ranks.
