£460k new footpath and cycle track

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC LIGHTS AND 30MPH SPEED LIMIT AS WORK BEGIN
WORK has started on a scheme to create a joint footpath and cycleway on a popular stretch of road into Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire Council has announced.
The council is investing £460,000 on the project which will widen a narrow path running next to the road from the Killingwoldgraves roundabout to Beverley Westwood.
The aim is to improve the route for cyclists. Work began on Monday, September 1, and is expected to be complete by November.
