Traffic advisory issued for NYE

The Delhi Police on Saturday issued a traffic advisory, announcing restrictions around India Gate and Connaught Place on New Year's Eve (NYE) to manage huge crowds expected to gather for celebrations. Special arrangements will also be in place across malls, markets, and clubs in New Delhi and South Delhi, the advisory said.

More than 10,000 police personnel will be deployed to maintain law and order, with paramilitary forces providing additional support, said officials. A senior officer confirmed, "Security will be heightened, and traffic will be an issue in key areas where large crowds are expected."
Restrictions in Connaught Place
"No private/public vehicle shall be allowed to proceed towards CP beyond designated points, including Mandi House, Bengali Market, and Patel Chowk, among others," the advisory be limited and available on a stated.
