NHA Seeks Report on K'taka Not Implementing Health Scheme

The National Health Authority (NHA) has sought a report from the Karnataka government on a cancer patient who allegedly died by suicide after being denied treatment under the Centre's Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (AB-PMJAY) scheme, officials said on Thursday.

The 72-year-old, who was diagnosed with gastric cancer, died by suicide on December 25 after he was allegedly denied treatment by a local hospital in Karnat
