Demolition drive still on, 750 houses, shops razed

NUH: The Nuh administration on continued its demolition drive in the violence-hit district for a fourth straight day on Sunday, with authorities razing 94 houses and 212 other structures, taking the total number of buildings levelled to more than 750 since the drive began, officials aware of the matter said
Communal clashes erupted in Nuh on July 31 after mobs attacked a Hindu religious procession organised by the Vishva Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal. The ensuing violence spread to other parts of Haryana, leading to the death of six people.
