Core sector output up 12.1% in October

The Index of eight core industries grew 12.1% in October compared to October 2022, according to data released Thursday by the ministry of commerce and industry. While this is faster than the 9.2% growth rate recorded in September, it is slower than the 12.5% growth rate recorded in August.
It is also only the fourth time in the past two years (the period since October 2021) that this number was in double digits.
