3 Dhalaos Shut in Jangpura on Residents' Plea, MCD Tells NGT

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has informed the National Green Tribunal (NGT) that it has shut down three dhalaos (waste collection centres) in south-east Delhi's Jangpura Extension following complaints of garbage spillage and foul odour.

NEW DELHI: Waste from the neighbourhood will now be managed by a new material recovery facility (MRF) in Pant Nagar, it said.
