'Vande Mataram must in UP edu institutions'

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday announced that singing "Vande Mataram" will be made compulsory in all educational institutions of the state, noting that the national song "reflects the spirit of nationalism and connects us with the soul of Mother India".
Addressing an event in Gorakhpur, he said singing “Vande Mataram” in educational institutions would inspire feelings of reverence and pride among citizens towards the motherland.
Describing the national song as a symbol of India's unity and pride, he said, "There should be a sense of respect for the national song Vande Mataram. We will make its singing compulsory in
