Student activist Sharjeel Imam on Monday moved a Delhi court, seeking interim bail for two weeks in the larger conspiracy case linked to the February 2020 Delhi riots, to contest the upcoming Bihar elections.

Imam, through his counsel — advocates Ibrahim Ahmad and Talib Mustafa, moved the plea before additional sessions judge Sameer Bajpai, who is presiding over the case which is currently at the stage of arguments on charge.
