State poll dept looks into SIR anomalies

The state election department of Bihar has started looking into complaints of many electors having found their enumeration forms submitted or filled up online despite not doing so on their own during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar.

“Yes, there are certain complaints about electors finding their enumeration forms submitted without having done so. We have asked the conducting teams to inquire into such complaints,” said an election officer, in the know of the matter.

The complaints are from residents in various districts, including Patna, where many people have found their forms filled up despite not having done so on their own.
