EC to rope in volunteers for house to house SIR in Bihar

The district election officers (DEOs) cum district magistrates in Bihar have been directed to deploy volunteers for distribution and collection of enumeration forms to electors along with booth level officers (BLOs) so that the distribution and collection of forms during house to house verification of voters under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) could be completed in a smooth and timely manner, top officials in the state election department said on Thursday.
PATNA:
The said instructions were given by senior deputy election commissioner Maneesh Garg during his meeting with all divisional commissioners and DMs of the state in Patna.
