Dhanbad division tops Railways earnings

The Dhanbad division of East Central Railway (ECR) has again emerged as one of the highest revenue-earning railway divisions in the country among 70 railway divisions nationwide, securing an income of ₹25,410.60 crore during the financial year 2024-25, officials said on Wednesday.

DHANBAD: The division achieved the highest freight loading in the nation, transporting 193.91 million tonnes of goods.
