Congress to Give 50% Tickets to Those Under 50, Says Dotasra

At least 50% of the tickets in the panchayat and civic bodies elections in Rajasthan will be reserved for the people under 50 years of age, the Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasra said on Monday.

"The block presidents, mandal presidents, and booth chairmen will have significant roles during the ticket distribution process in the local bodies poll, which is going to take place later this year. We have also decided that 50% tickets will be given to the people under 50 years. The necessary reservations for women will also be maintained," said Dotasra.

On Monday, the Congress state chief held a one-on-one meeting with all the party's coordinators across the state assemblies and gathered necessary feedback on the regular block level meeting, implementation of the booth and mandal executives, and the performances of leaders at the local units.
