CM Lays Foundation Stone for a Well Pad in Barmer Oil Field

Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Friday visited the Mangala Processing Terminal (MPT), the core of India's largest onshore oil production field operated by Cairn in Barmer, and laid the foundation stone for a new well pad.

The oil and gas fields in Barmer are playing a crucial role in strengthening India's domestic production as well as the socioeconomic development of the region. Rajasthan, with its abundant mineral resources and oil and gas reserves, stands as a key strategic hub for the nation's energy independence," Sharma said.
