CM: Budget focuses on job creation, fiscal growth, environment

The budget presented by finance minister Diya Kumari reiterated the government's focus on sustainability, job creation, and economic growth, thus, fulfilling the promises made to people that is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Wednesday.

"More than 50% of the promises made in the party's manifesto have already been successfully fulfilled," he told the reporters after the budget. He also highlighted the progress made since the last budget in July 2024, pointing out that land allotments for 96% of the announcements have been completed, and financial and administrative sanctions have been granted for 85% of the proposed projects.

"PM Modi believes that the development of the country is possible only through the upliftment of four key groups-youth, women, workers, and farmers, and this state budget is an important step towards fulfilling the aspirations of 80 million people in Rajasthan," he said.
