JAIPUR:

"Aditya Jain (26), wanted in multiple serious criminal cases, was traced through joint efforts of Indian and UAE authorities and brought back to Jaipur on April 4, 2025, marking a significant victory in the state's crackdown on gang networks," Dinesh MN, additional director general of police, Crime Branch/Anti-Gangster Task Force, said at a press conference.

Aditya Jain is a resident of Kuchaman city in Didwana-Kuchaman district. "He is a known associate of the notorious extortion gang operated by jailed gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Rohit Godara in Gujarat," he said.

"The accused was actively involved in the gang and faces serious criminal charges across various districts of Rajasthan, including kidnapping, rape, extortion under threat, possession of illegal weapons, and aiding jailed criminals by unlawfully providing mobile phones and other materials to facilitate criminal activities. He is also accused of using fake identities to evade law enforcement. A total of several cases have been registered against him," he said.
