Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, who is also the state’s home minister, said that the Bombay High Court verdict is shocking. “The Bombay HC verdict in the bomb blast case is shocking, especially in the backdrop of the earlier verdict given by the lower court. Ihave not yet read the order, but have spoken to the counsels in this court. I have asked them to move the Supreme Court at the earliest,” he said.
Maharashtra additional chief secretary (home) Iqbal Chahal said they had studied the judgement and asked Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) chief Naval Bajaj to send a proposal so that the state could move the Supreme Court at the earliest.
