Govt allows PoP idols, but artists root for eco Ganesha

Last month, the Bombay High Court modified the ban on manufacture and sale of Plaster of Paris (PoP) idols during Ganesh Chaturthi.
However, this isn’t of much interest to artists and sculptors, as they've ditched making PoP idols, thanks to the soaring demand for eco-friendly ones now.
