One injured as two Cong groups clash in Ara, senior party leader says 'outsiders' involved

Fierce fighting between two groups of Congress broke out here on Thursday before the secretary of All India Congress committee-cum-additional in-charge of state Congress and MLA of Chattisgarh Devendra Yadav.

In the incident, one Congress worker was seriously injured while several others sustained minor injuries.

Yadav was at Ara to attend an organisational meeting at the local party office.
