Now demand for Bharat Ratna to former Bihar deputy CM Sushil Modi

Former Bihar deputy chief minister and Rajya Sabha member late Sushil Kumar Modi is the latest leader from the state for whom demand for Bharat Ratna is being raised.
PATNA:
Patna witnessed posters at many places on the birth anniversary of Sushil Modi, who is credited with working with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to kickstart the state's developmental journey.
The demand was also made by Sushil Kumar Modi Memorial Research Institute president Sanjay Gupta, which organised a function on Sunday to mark the first birth anniversary since the death of Sushil Modi last year. He also sought renaming of Patna's Moinul Haq Stadium, which is being reconstructed, after Sushil Modi and recognise his rich legacy.
