Class 12 student ‘gang-raped’, 4 accused nabbed

A minor intermediate student was allegedly gang-raped by five persons near Khalgaon railway station in Bhagalpur, while her boyfriend was assaulted after tying his hands and feet late on Tuesday, police said.

PATNA: Police said the accused were fruit sellers and daily wage labourers.

Police further said four of the five accused were arrested within three hours of the complaint being lodged, while the victim is currently undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital.

The victim had gone to Bhagalpur to meet her boyfriend. As per preliminary details, the boy had come to see her near Kahalgaon railway station late evening where a group of 5-6 men suddenly surrounded them.
