Shah highlights '5 Ps' rule as cooperation ministry marks 4 yrs

Union home minister and cooperation minister Amit Shah on Sunday launched the Sardar Patel Cooperative Dairy Federation, which will be developed on the lines of Amul, in Gujarat’s Anand, while announcing plans to establish 2,00,000 new cooperative societies across India.

Speaking at an event in Anand to mark the completion of four years of the ministry of cooperation, he also announced the formation of the new Kutch District Salt Cooperative Society, which will benefit the country’s salt producers or “agariyas” as they are known in Gujarat.
