1st batch of 17 women cadets to graduate from NDA on May 30

The NDA in Khadakwasla is set to script history with its first batch of 17 women cadets graduating on May 30.
MUMBAI: This follows the Supreme Court's 2021 ruling that opened the doors of the NDA to women, allowing them to join the tri-services academy. Out of 17 cadets, nine will join the army, three will join the navy while the remaining five will join the air force.
For Cadet Harsimran Kaur, who hails from Gurdaspur district in Punjab, May 30 is the most awaited day in her life as she would pass out from the hallowed portals of the country's elite defence training institute.
