U.P. SELF-STYLED SPIRITUAL LEADER QUESTIONED IN CONVERSION CASE

The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of the Uttar Pradesh Police on Friday took Jalaluddin Shah, alias Chhangur Baba, to Madhpur village in Balrampur district, from where he allegedly operated a widespread religious conversion racket.
According to ATS officials, the accused was taken to the site to extract details about the conversion activities he allegedly conducted from a sprawling bungalow belonging to his associates. On Thursday afternoon, the ATS secured a seven-day police custody remand for Chhangur Baba from the Lucknow district ail.
