RSS Chief Meets PM in Capital Hours After High-Level Meet

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat at his (the PM's) official residence in the Capital, hours after chairing a high-level security meeting in the wake of a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam.

NEW DELHI:

The RSS is the ideological fount of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. The meeting between the PM and Bhagwat, details of which were not shared, comes at a time when the government is taking counter measures against Pakistan following the April 22 terror attack in Baisaran in Pahalgam, in which terrorists killed 26 people.
